Chocolate cake
150 grams
of butter
3 cups of
caster sugar
1 cup of
cacao
1 teaspoon
of vanilla sugar
2 eggs
2 cups of
flour
Preheat the
oven to 175 degrees.
Melt butter
in a pan that can hold 2 litres.
Remove the
pan from the heat.
Beat together
caster sugar, cacao and vanilla sugar in the melted butter until smooth.
Add the
eggs, one at the time, while whisking.
Add the
flour afterwards.
Put the
batter in a greased baking tray covered with breadcrumbs, and it also needs
removable sides, 24 cm in diameter.
Bake the
cake in the lower part of the oven for 20 minutes, no longer, it’s supposed to
be loose in the middle.
Let the
cake cool down and than put it in the fridge for about 1 h.
You can
powder it with powder sugar, if you wish.
This is a
good and easy-understood recipe because it’s step by step, you can tell exactly
what to do it and when to do it. You can
understand every step because it’s essay written so that even a child could follow
it. The bad thing is that there is not a step for when you’re supposed to
grease the tray and cover it in breadcrumbs, so can’t be to sure about when
you’re supposed to do it, it should be somewhere in the beginning. But except for that, it is a quite good
recipe, and the cake would surely taste great.
